When Do I “Right Click” in DesignShop?
Here are three examples of when to use the right mouse button in DesignShop.

1. Right Click on any tool selection to determine it’s properties prior to it’s use.
Example: Point to the Walk Normal tool button. Then Right Click on the button. Now you can setup it’s properties for future use in digitizing.
2. Right Click in a blank area of the Tree View Window to change the size of the element images.
Example: After pointing to any blank area of the Tree View Window and right clicking, select Tree Image Size. Another window will popup that gives you the sizes to choose from. (Good Tip for those of you who have trouble seeing the images in the tree.)
3. Right Click after you have digitized an element. Now you have the digitizing tools quicker than selecting them from the tool bar menu. Example: Digitize a Walk Normal stitch. Hit enter to complete the element, then Right Click to access all of your digitizing tools in a popup window. This will save you the steps of leaving the digitizing session to grab a tool from the menu bar.

1. In DesignShop you must refer to the code sheets to see what alphabets can be sewn small. Most closest point alphabets can be sewn smaller than the non -closest point alphabets.

For example to sew small letters from .30 and below, follow the following suggested parameters:
Stitch Length: 15 points
Horizontal Spacing: 0.02-0.03
Column Width: 120%
Density: 4.0 - Do not use Auto Density
Short Stitches: Off
Underlay: Center Walk, Stitch Length: 15 points

5. All the settings are now back to be used again.
6. Your saved styles can also be stored on a floppy diskette and removed from your hard drive.
7. Just simply go to the Styles sub folder under the DesignShop folder.
